Backend Development
Business Services|Data and Integration|Reliable Application Logic
Sphere 10 develops .NET backends that own the rules and state of your product. We build APIs, background services, integration adapters and domain logic for web, desktop and mobile clients. The service boundary is designed around the business operation, with explicit contracts for data, permissions, transactions and failure.
Put the Rules Where Every Client Uses Them
We separate transport, business operations and persistence so a browser and a mobile application follow the same validation and authorization rules. Commands describe meaningful work rather than exposing database tables as an unrestricted remote interface. Query endpoints are shaped for filtering, paging and the actual screens consuming them.
Sphere10 Framework supplies application composition, serialization, communication and data-access building blocks. Its scoped data mechanisms support deliberate connection and transaction ownership. Our own application service work also provides concrete experience with typed clients, compatible HTTP adapters and persisted support operations, without requiring your product to adopt another product's business model.
Engineer the External Boundaries
Integrations account for slow providers, duplicate events and partial failure. We establish stable operation IDs, validation and reconciliation rules before adding automatic retries. Work that must survive a request or process lifetime receives persistent state and a defined execution owner. A fire-and-forget task is not treated as a completed business transaction.
We select relational schemas, query patterns and caching according to data volume and consistency needs. Schema changes are explicit and reviewable. Existing records and integration contracts are preserved through migrations, with version compatibility defined for clients that cannot all upgrade at once.
Your Service Implementation
Verify Behaviour Under Failure
Acceptance includes unauthorized records, conflicting updates, malformed requests and interrupted external calls. We test the meaningful workload against realistic data, measuring bottlenecks rather than assuming that asynchronous code is automatically scalable. Handover contains source, API documentation, operational limits and recovery instructions. Your team receives a backend that can explain an uncertain operation and recover it, as well as one that returns a successful response when everything works.
