Backup Solutions
Defined Recovery Targets|Consistent Data Capture|Tested Restores
Sphere 10 designs backup systems around the recovery your business needs to perform. We identify the application state, files, databases, keys and configuration that must be captured together, then build and test the route back to a usable service. Successful copy jobs are one part of that result.
Define What Must Be Recovered
We establish acceptable data loss, recovery time, retention and the people authorised to restore information. The inventory includes application databases, attachments, identity material, service configuration and dependencies that are easy to omit. Different workloads may need different capture schedules and retention periods rather than one policy applied indiscriminately.
Our Local Notion product provides an owned .NET implementation for downloading Notion pages, databases, objects and attachments with local history. For a Notion backup engagement, we define how those captured materials can be read or recovered and verify the required route explicitly. Exported content is not automatically a complete restoration of every remote workspace property or permission.
Capture Consistent Application State
Database and application backups need a known consistency boundary. We select a database-aware capture method or a coordinated stopped copy where appropriate, including associated files and keys. Our enterprise application deployment work makes that practical distinction between replaceable software images and persistent business or workflow state.
We design backup access, encryption, off-host copies and retention around the environment's risks. Backup credentials and storage must remain usable during the incident the backup is intended to address. Monitoring reports failed and incomplete work with enough context for an operator to act, rather than silently treating a missing source as a successful empty backup.
Your Recovery Package
Accept a Restore, Then Keep Testing It
Acceptance restores selected data into an isolated location and verifies content, permissions where relevant and application behaviour. We include a damaged or missing source scenario where it materially affects the design. Handover contains runbooks, alert handling and a schedule for repeating recovery exercises. Your team knows which recovery paths have been demonstrated, how old a recoverable copy may be and what remains dependent on another service or account.
