Blazor Hybrid Development
Razor Components|Native Desktop Integration|Shared .NET Logic
Sphere 10 develops Blazor Hybrid applications that combine a Razor interface with a native desktop or mobile host. This suits teams that want to share web-facing presentation and C# logic while retaining local files, device access and an installed application.
Choose the Host Deliberately
A BlazorWebView renders HTML and CSS inside the native application while .NET code runs in its process. We choose a MAUI host for the agreed mobile and desktop targets, or a WinForms/WPF host when modernising an existing Windows application. That is a different deployment model from a browser-hosted Blazor application, with different installation, update and offline responsibilities.
We establish which screens can be shared and which interactions should remain native. File pickers, printing, notifications and operating-system integration receive explicit platform adapters. A web component is not accepted as portable until its hosting dependencies, JavaScript assumptions and native behaviour have been checked.
Separate Components From Infrastructure
Razor component libraries contain reusable presentation; application services expose the work those components perform. Dependency injection supplies host-specific implementations for storage, identity and device operations. We avoid embedding privileged native actions in arbitrary web content and keep navigation to external sites outside the trusted application surface.
Our Sphere10 Framework separates its shared Application contracts from the WinForms and Blazor adapters. That separation is useful here: common settings, commands and lifecycle responsibilities can be assessed independently of their UI. The current server-oriented Blazor adapter is evaluated for dependencies rather than assumed to run unchanged inside a Hybrid host.
Make Local Working Explicit
Ship the Native Application
You receive the native projects, shared components, service contracts and platform-specific build instructions. Acceptance covers cold start, offline entry, reconnect, native dialogs and a complete upgrade from the prior package. We include a component-reuse map so your team knows which changes affect the browser product, installed client or both. Visual polish is checked in the real embedded WebView, including text scaling and narrow layouts, rather than inferred from a desktop browser screenshot.
