Business Consulting
Project Design|Commercial Delivery|Operational Execution
Sphere 10 helps businesses define software projects that can be priced, delivered and operated with clear responsibilities. We work through the actual process, users, data and commercial constraints, then turn that understanding into an implementable scope. Our advice is grounded in building and maintaining software ourselves.
Project Design Is Paid Discovery
We start with an initial discussion on a time-and-materials basis. That work develops the requirements: what the business is trying to achieve, how the current process operates and what the proposed system must do. We use concrete examples, workflow maps and prototypes where they resolve uncertainty, with decisions recorded as the design develops.
You receive the agreed requirements, priorities, dependencies and acceptance criteria. We identify the information and decisions your organisation must supply, including who can approve scope. The output is useful whether Sphere 10 performs the build or another delivery team takes it forward.
Project Delivery Has a Defined Commercial Boundary
Once the design is sufficiently clear, we agree a fixed price for a rapid application development build. Delivery starts with an initial deposit, includes one agreed round of client changes and concludes with an acceptance payment on delivery. The scope and review round are defined so both parties understand what has been purchased and when acceptance occurs.
QA can follow as a separate negotiated engagement, on either time and materials or a fixed-price basis. That lets the extent of testing reflect the business risk and the environment being tested. Project Execution then covers the agreed operating responsibilities under an SLA, including support, response arrangements and continuing changes where included.
Practical Business Deliverables
Engineering Advice You Can Build From
Our Sphere10 Framework and Local Notion product work gives us a concrete view of reusable software, data ownership and publication workflows. We bring those implementation concerns into business decisions early, including whether an existing product, integration or focused custom application is the practical answer.
Acceptance of the consulting work is the reviewed design package and the decisions it supports. We explain unresolved assumptions and the work needed to settle them. The next phase is then a conscious commercial agreement with a defined output, rather than an open-ended promise to keep developing until every possible requirement has emerged.
