Sphere 10 develops commerce applications where ordering, payment and fulfilment must agree. We build .NET storefront services, customer portals and administration tools for product sales, subscriptions and business-specific purchasing workflows. The engagement covers the operational lifecycle of an order, including the cases that happen after the first successful payment.
Model the Commercial Rules Explicitly
We define products, prices, entitlements, tax inputs, shipping decisions and customer roles with the people responsible for operating the business. Stock reservation, account pricing, subscription periods and renewal rules are represented in the application model rather than scattered through browser code. The source of truth for each commercial value is documented.
Our own enterprise application work includes products, account access, subscriptions and signed licence operations. That provides concrete experience with transaction ownership and repeatable payment requests. We use Sphere10 Framework application and persistence mechanisms where appropriate, while the particular commerce rules remain owned by your product.
Make Payment and Order State Agree
A payment request can time out after a provider has accepted it. A webhook can arrive twice or arrive before a browser returns to the store. We design stable operation identifiers, idempotent handlers and reconciliation states for these cases. An uncertain payment is made visible for resolution rather than silently retried as another purchase.
Checkout, provider integration and administration are developed together. We implement validation and authorization at the backend, verify webhook authenticity and keep provider credentials outside the client. Refunds, cancellations and manual interventions receive an audit trail with clear restrictions on who may perform them.
A Complete Commerce Workflow
Accept the Exceptions as Well as the Sale
Acceptance includes failed and uncertain payments, duplicate callbacks, cancelled checkout and a customer returning after session expiry. Subscription projects also verify renewals, paid-through periods and entitlement changes. We use provider test facilities for development and keep live activation a separately configured release step. Handover includes payment-state diagrams, configuration, reconciliation procedures and source code, giving your staff a practical way to resolve commercial exceptions without editing the database by hand.
