Hardware Procurement
Workload-Based Selection|Compatible Systems|Verified Commissioning
Sphere 10 helps organisations select hardware that fits the software and operating workload it must support. We turn capacity, compatibility and support requirements into a reviewable procurement specification, then verify the delivered equipment against that specification. The scope can cover application servers, engineering workstations, storage or AI compute.
Specify the Workload Before the Equipment
We establish user concurrency, application memory, data growth, storage access patterns and the expected service life. For AI workloads, the assessment includes model memory, context length, GPU capacity, interconnect and power requirements. Existing measurements are preferred to assumptions based on a processor name or a vendor benchmark.
Our System Expert engineering includes Windows CPU, memory, GPU, storage and hardware-health acquisition. It gives us concrete experience interpreting measured load, device-dependent sensors and missing readings. We use suitable diagnostics for the target platform and record the origin and limits of those measurements rather than treating every displayed sensor value as equally authoritative.
Review the Whole Compatibility Chain
Procurement covers the chassis, power, cooling, memory layout, storage controller, network interfaces and operating-system support as a system. We check expansion requirements, firmware and driver availability, replacement options and the practical support arrangements. A fast component can be the wrong purchase if its deployment requires unsupported software or leaves no maintenance path.
For .NET application hosts, we relate the hardware specification to the actual application and database design. Storage latency, sustained memory use and backup windows can matter more than additional CPU cores. We distinguish required capacity from desirable headroom so commercial decisions remain visible.
A Concrete Procurement Package
Accept the Delivered System
We confirm that the received configuration matches the approved order and exercise it under the agreed workload. Acceptance may include sustained load, storage performance, GPU visibility and the required recovery or replacement procedure. Handover contains the equipment inventory, warranty and support references, baseline measurements and configuration record. You retain the basis for the purchase and evidence of what was commissioned, making later capacity changes and fault investigations easier to assess.
