Hybrid App Development
Shared Web Interfaces|Native Device Bridges|Connected Application Services
Sphere 10 builds Hybrid apps that reuse web interfaces inside an installed mobile or desktop application. We combine a productive shared UI with deliberate native integration, choosing the runtime around your existing code, device requirements and long-term support needs.
Choose the Right Hybrid Model
For TypeScript and HTML-based applications, Capacitor provides native platform projects and a plugin boundary for device features. Ionic can supply the interface components. For a C# and Razor codebase, Blazor Hybrid places components inside a native .NET host. These approaches share a category, but their execution models, plugins and deployment dependencies are different.
We assess the existing interface before wrapping it. Navigation, safe-area layout, software keyboards, file handling and authentication redirects often need intentional changes. A responsive website inside a shell is not automatically an application that behaves properly when suspended, resumed or opened from a notification.
Keep Native Privileges Behind a Contract
A small device-services boundary owns access to cameras, storage, notifications and other platform functions. Each bridge validates its input and exposes only the operations the application needs. We separate trusted packaged content from external navigation and define how authentication tokens and locally cached data are stored and cleared.
Our Sphere10 Framework separates application services and lifecycle from platform-specific UI adapters, and Local Notion demonstrates our .NET integration/product work. We use that same architectural discipline for Hybrid clients, with ASP.NET Core services and compatible shared logic where useful. Neither product is presented as a ready-made Capacitor plugin or a universal mobile UI layer.
Make Offline and Update Behaviour Predictable
Deliver More Than a Wrapper
You receive the shared web project, native host projects, device adapters and a repeatable release process. Acceptance includes cold start, sign-in/return redirects, camera or file operations, background/resume and upgrade with existing local state. We document what can be released as web content and what requires a new native package, in line with the chosen distribution policy. Your team can maintain the shared interface without losing track of the platform code that makes it an installed product.
