MAUI Development
Native .NET Interfaces|Shared Application Logic|Device-Aware Workflows
Sphere 10 builds .NET MAUI applications for connected business workflows across the agreed Windows, macOS, iOS and Android devices. We share the parts that benefit from one C# codebase and design the device-specific interactions that make the application useful in practice.
Native Controls, Shared Services
MAUI with XAML and C# is appropriate when the interface should use the native control model rather than a web interface in a shell. We organise screens around task-focused view models and application services, keeping validation, network operations and data rules separate from platform presentation.
Target platforms are agreed at the outset. MAUI uses Mac Catalyst for its macOS target; a Linux desktop requirement needs a separate UI decision. We prove the difficult feature early, whether that is camera capture, barcode hardware, Bluetooth, background activity or an existing native SDK. The project estimate follows that evidence.
Share the Right .NET Building Blocks
Our Sphere10 Framework provides reusable .NET mechanisms such as typed data sources, serialization and settings abstractions. We select compatible components after checking their target frameworks and dependencies; Windows Forms components remain Windows components. This keeps the shared domain layer useful without disguising a desktop control library as a mobile toolkit.
A backend built with ASP.NET Core owns shared records, authorization and integration with business systems. HttpClient-based client services handle timeouts and cancellation. Where local working is required, SQLite and an explicit synchronization model separate provisional device changes from confirmed server state.
Design for Interruptions
Accept on Real Devices
We deliver the MAUI solution, native configuration, service interfaces and release instructions for each target. Acceptance uses the agreed device matrix and complete workflows, including poor connectivity, large attachments and an upgrade with existing local data. Your team receives an explanation of platform-specific handlers and integrations, not just a shared-project percentage. Store submission, managed-device distribution and ongoing maintenance can then be commissioned against the actual application and operating responsibilities.
