Native App Development
Platform-Native Experiences|Connected .NET Services|Device-Specific Integration
Sphere 10 builds native mobile applications when the product needs direct control of platform behaviour, device features and the user experience. We develop the client and its supporting services together, so the app is more than an attractive screen over an unreliable integration.
Use the Platform Directly
Swift and SwiftUI are natural choices for an Apple-native interface; Kotlin and Jetpack Compose serve Android. We define the supported devices, operating-system range and hardware features before choosing the implementation. Camera, location, Bluetooth, notifications or specialist device SDKs each receive a practical proof against the actual target hardware.
This offering concentrates on platform-specific Swift and Kotlin clients, with direct integration into each operating system. .NET MAUI is another native application approach that shares C# and UI code; we assess it when that reuse suits the product. WebView-based Hybrid and PWA clients have their own runtime and distribution requirements. The agreed architecture defines which business rules live behind an API and which device behaviours stay local.
Own the Backend as Well
Our .NET work includes Sphere10 Framework application composition, data access and typed serialization, as well as the Local Notion content/synchronization product. We draw on those foundations for supporting services, administration and integration; the Swift or Kotlin interface remains a platform application, not a Framework control library.
ASP.NET Core endpoints define authorization, validation and stable data contracts. We design HttpClient-compatible API behaviour, idempotent submission where retries are possible and a clear token-refresh flow. An app should distinguish a rejected operation from one whose outcome is still unknown after a connection failure.
Build for a Mobile Lifecycle
Test the Product in Use
We deliver client projects, service contracts, release configuration and a real-device acceptance matrix. Testing follows complete tasks with a slow network, expired session, unavailable device feature and an application update with existing data. Accessibility, touch targets and system text scaling are reviewed alongside functional behaviour. Your team receives the integration and operational documentation needed to change the app and backend without breaking older installed clients.
