Sphere 10 builds .NET applications for work that spreadsheets, disconnected tools and standard packages cannot handle properly. We deliver the application, its data model and integrations together, with the operational controls needed to use it every day and develop it further.

Build Around the Work

We begin with the people completing the work: the records they manage, decisions they make, exceptions they encounter and systems they must update. That becomes an executable workflow with explicit rules, permissions and acceptance examples. A desktop workstation, browser application and background service can share business logic without forcing their interfaces into the same design.

C# services own validation and calculations. The chosen UI calls those services through clear contracts. We use asynchronous operations and cancellation where work can be interrupted, and keep database transactions out of presentation event handlers. SQL Server or SQLite is selected around concurrency, deployment and local-working requirements.

A Foundation We Develop Ourselves

Sphere10 Framework is our own .NET library family. Its Application layer supplies dependency injection, settings and initialization/shutdown pipelines; its data abstractions support provider-specific SQL and scoped transactions. For record-heavy software, IDataSource provides typed CRUD, validation, paging and refresh contracts that can be consumed by the relevant interface.

Local Notion is a concrete example of our .NET product engineering: its command-line application uses the Framework Core, Application and Data libraries to synchronize content, retain local files and generate publications. Your application receives its own domain model and policy rather than a renamed copy of another product.

Handle the Unhappy Paths

Keep a long-running import responsive, cancellable and explicit about completed and rejected records.
Detect stale edits and permission failures before presenting a save as successful.
Preserve user preferences independently from shared business data and deployment configuration.
Record failures with enough context to diagnose them without exposing credentials or sensitive records.

Deliver a Working System

The handover includes source, repeatable builds, database changes, configuration guidance and an agreed deployment package. Acceptance exercises representative workflows against realistic data volumes, including interrupted operations and recovery. We measure the screens and processing paths that matter to your users, then document the external dependencies and ownership of scheduled work. Further capability can be added through the same service boundaries instead of repeatedly rebuilding the application shell.
