Network Structuring and Segmentation
Clear Network Boundaries|Documented Access Paths|Verified Connectivity
Sphere 10 structures networks around the systems, users and operational responsibilities they connect. We design addressing, segmentation and access paths for office, server, cloud and application environments, then verify that required communication works and unintended communication is restricted. The result includes configuration and evidence your support team can use.
Map Communication Before Changing Rules
We identify user devices, application services, databases, management interfaces and third-party dependencies. The design records which party initiates each connection, its destination and the reason it exists. DNS, time services, certificates, remote access and monitoring are included so segmentation does not break dependencies hidden outside an application diagram.
Our System Expert engineering covers Windows adapters, network interfaces, TCP and UDP endpoints and packet capture. That gives us concrete experience distinguishing configured interfaces from observed traffic. We use the appropriate diagnostics for each environment and obtain a representative baseline before proposing changes to access rules.
Separate Application and Management Access
Address plans, VLANs, subnets and firewall rules are designed together. Administrative access, user-facing ingress and service-to-service traffic have different purposes and should have explicit owners. We review how remote staff, maintenance tools and cloud connections reach the environment, including the route taken during an incident.
Our .NET and ASP.NET Core work helps connect network rules to actual application behaviour. Trusted proxy configuration, client addressing and certificate names affect authorization, logging and browser access. We test those assumptions at the application boundary instead of assuming that a successful port connection proves the full service works.
A Reviewable Network Design
Commission Without Losing Control
Changes are staged so the team retains a known management path while rules are applied. Acceptance checks both successful application workflows and attempts that should be denied. We record the tested source and destination context rather than reporting an unexplained pass. Handover includes diagrams, configuration backups, observed results and the procedure for adding a new service. Subsequent network changes can then be reviewed against an established access model instead of accumulating undocumented exceptions.
