Progressive Web App Development
Installable Web Experiences|Explicit Offline Behaviour|One Connected Product
Sphere 10 develops progressive web applications for products that benefit from browser reach, installable presentation and selected offline capabilities. We engineer the web application and its service boundary together, with the browser-specific limits made clear before promising a native-app replacement.
Choose What the Browser Should Own
A web app manifest supplies install-related metadata; a service worker controls selected caching and network behaviour. Neither one makes a website fully offline by itself. We define which routes, assets and records must remain available, how stale content is indicated and which operations still require a live server.
The interface can use TypeScript, HTML5 and an appropriate component framework, with ASP.NET Core services behind it. We check the required APIs against the actual browser and device matrix. Push, background processing, file access and installation differ between browsers, so essential workflows receive a supported fallback.
Keep Content and Application State Distinct
Our Local Notion product generates linked HTML publications from Notion and supports reusable themes and local content storage. It is a concrete reference for our content-generation and publication engineering. A transactional PWA adds a separate application layer: authentication, record state, synchronization and server-side authorization must be designed for the workflow.
Cache Storage is used for suitable request/asset responses, while IndexedDB can hold structured local records and pending actions. We separate public assets from user-specific data, define sign-out cleanup and version local schemas. An application must not continue serving one user's private records after another person signs in on the same browser profile.
Treat Reconnection as a Workflow
Accept in Real Browsers
We deliver the application, service worker, manifest, API contracts and deployment configuration with an offline/update test plan. Acceptance covers first visit, install where supported, repeat launch offline, reconnect, sign-out and an upgrade with existing cached data. We test accessibility, touch/keyboard interaction and performance on the agreed devices. Your team receives an explanation of the cache and synchronization policies so a future content or API release can be made deliberately instead of relying on users clearing their browser data.
