Server Deployment
Repeatable Server Builds|Application-Ready Hosting|Operational Handover
Sphere 10 deploys Windows and Linux servers around the applications and data they need to host. We prepare the operating system, service identity, storage, networking and operational controls as one deployment. The goal is a server that can run, recover and be maintained with clear ownership after commissioning.
Establish the Server's Role
We identify the application processes, databases, file shares and external dependencies the server will own. Capacity, access and recovery requirements follow those responsibilities. Development, staging and production configurations are kept distinct, with required ports and administrative paths documented before the system is exposed.
Our .NET products provide direct experience with application hosting beyond a successful installation. Local Notion runs across Windows, Linux and macOS, while our enterprise application deployment work includes Linux containers, persistent application state and authenticated browser access. We bring that application knowledge into the server build without assuming that every workload needs the same operating model.
Configure for Controlled Operation
The build covers supported runtime dependencies, service accounts, file permissions, updates, time synchronization and certificate handling. Applications receive configuration through a defined mechanism, with secrets kept out of public build artefacts. Database and application state locations are explicit so replacement of a process does not accidentally replace its data.
Our System Expert work includes Windows services, processes, event logs, storage and network diagnostics. These mechanisms help establish a useful baseline and investigate the boundary between an application fault and a host fault. We choose equivalent native diagnostics for Linux rather than implying that a Windows management tool runs unchanged everywhere.
Your Commissioned Server
Verify the Service After Reboot
Acceptance includes a restart, application startup under its real service identity and access from the intended client network. We test the user-facing function separately from process health, including database connectivity and required outbound services. Handover contains configuration records, baseline results and the maintenance responsibilities retained by each party. Ongoing patching, incident response and capacity review can then be covered by an execution SLA appropriate to the environment.
